Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Fitter with a background in pneumatics, hydraulics and maintenance. The role includes full training to become a Commissioning Engineer, plus regular overtime and a clear progression path.

You will test and repair specialist equipment, support service teams and travel to customer sites for on-site testing, installation and calibration. First year training leads to lone work.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Willingness to undergo structured training to become a Commissioning Engineer.
• Ability to travel to site for testing, installation and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle testing and repairs on specialist equipment.
• Support the service and after-sales team as required.
• Visit customer sites for on-site testing, installation and calibration.
