Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Fitter with a background in pneumatics, hydraulics and maintenance. The role includes full training to become a Commissioning Engineer, plus regular overtime and a clear progression path.

You will test and repair specialist equipment, support service teams and travel to customer sites for on-site testing, installation and calibration. First year training leads to lone work.

Do you have a mechanical background? In this position you will carry out vehicle testing and repairs on specialist equipment, working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and engines. Support the service and after-sales team as required, and visit customer sites for on-site testing, installation, and calibration. After the first year and sufficient training you will start to visit sites and lone work.

This role would suit someone with a background in pneumatics, Hydraulics, pipe bending or similar looking to join a company that will providing training to upskill ad offer them specialist training to develop their career.
