Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to work in assembly, building and dismantling pumps for OE and aftermarket orders. You will operate within the assembly area, maintain quality, and help drive cost reductions through continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have time-served experience, familiarity with lean methods, and strong communication skills. The role may involve site visits and working across departments to ensure safe, compliant production.

Qualifications

• Time served Mechanical Fitter with up to 3 years relevant experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new pumps for OE and aftermarket orders according to work instructions.
• Dismantle and reassemble repair/service pumps per parameters and instructions.
• Ensure quality workmanship and complete necessary paperwork and checklists.
• Assist Operations Manager with assembly issues and coordinate with other departments to document solutions.
• Contribute to updating assembly documentation, programs and tooling; participate in continuous improvement to reduce costs.
• May need to attend customer sites to perform service work when required.
