Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a workshop role in Warwick. You will repair electric motors, pumps and gearboxes, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.

We require hands-on experience with motors and gearboxes, good mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a practical approach to health and safety. You may be asked to work overtime or be on call when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Familiar with health and safety procedures and PPE.
• Basic computer skills and reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Good communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Repair electric motors, pumps and gearboxes in workshop.
• Complete tasks to standard and deadlines.
• Diagnose and carry out repairs using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Maintain workshop documentation and timesheets.
• Keep a clean, safe, organised working area.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and PPE.
• Support colleagues and overtime/call-out when required.
