Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a workshop role in Warwick. You will repair electric motors, pumps and gearboxes, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.

We require hands-on experience with motors and gearboxes, good mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a practical approach to health and safety. You may be asked to work overtime or be on call when required.

Mechanical Fitter

Location: Warwick

Salary: £15 to £16 per hour, dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, with overtime and call-out availability required

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a background in electric motors, pumps and gearboxes?

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client's workshop team in Warwick, taking responsibility for the repair and maintenance of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, meeting deadlines and working as part of a team.

The Role

• Repairing electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Completing workshop tasks to the required standard and within agreed deadlines.
• Using your mechanical and electrical knowledge to diagnose and carry out repairs.
• Completing workshop documentation and daily timesheets.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider workshop operation.
• Being available for overtime and call-out work when required.
