Brazen Search is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer for a recycling manufacturer in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. The role is hands-on, maintaining, repairing and fault-finding industrial plant to keep production running smoothly.

You will work 4 on / 4 off, with 12-hour rotating days and nights, and a salary of £50,000 per annum. A time-served apprenticeship or engineering qualification is preferred, with strong fault-finding and safety mindset.

The Role

We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer to join an established recycling manufacturer based in Tuxford.

This is a hands-on engineering role involving the maintenance, repair and fault-finding of industrial plant and machinery. You will play a key part in keeping production running efficiently, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and repair or replace defective components.
