Brazen Search is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Engineer for a Lincoln-based recycling manufacturer. This hands-on role maintains and repairs industrial plant, helping keep production running smoothly and safely.

The candidate will diagnose mechanical faults, perform repairs or replacements, and contribute to improving equipment performance. A proactive, safety-conscious approach and relevant qualifications or an apprenticeship are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Engineer or in maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling or heavy industry preferred.
• Proactive approach to maintenance, safety and problem-solving.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or time-served apprenticeship beneficial.

Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour rotating days and nights

The Role

We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer to join an established recycling manufacturer based in Lincoln.

This is a hands-on engineering role involving the maintenance, repair and fault-finding of industrial plant and machinery. You will play a key part in keeping production running efficiently, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely.
