Job summary

Brazen Search is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer for an established recycling manufacturer in Newark.

This hands-on role covers maintenance, repair and fault-finding of industrial plant and machinery, ensuring production runs safely and downtime is minimised. The position offers a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour rotating day/night shift and a permanent career opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling or heavy industry would be advantageous.

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour rotating days and nights

The Role

We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer to join an established recycling manufacturer based in Newark. This is a hands-on engineering role involving the maintenance, repair and fault-finding of industrial plant and machinery. You will play a key part in keeping production running efficiently, minimising downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely.
