Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team based in Sheffield. We specialize in the repair and maintenance of AC & DC motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on AC & DC motors with precision and expertise.
• Conduct repairs on pumps and gearboxes, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Undertake generator repairs and overhauls to meet industry standards.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address client issues effectively.
• Execute duties with meticulous attention to detail.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A solid technical background in electro/mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring is advantageous.
• Experience in overhead crane operation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical testing is advantageous.
