Job summary

Sunseeker International in Poole is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a marine engineering team building luxury yachts. You will install, fit and test mechanical systems across the yacht build, working safely and to exacting standards.

The role requires at least 3 years' mechanical or engineering experience, knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling or engine systems, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant mechanical/engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling or engine systems.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Own basic engineering hand tools.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client, Sunseeker International, at their Poole shipyard. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a skilled marine engineering environment and play a hands-on role in the construction of some of the world's most prestigiousluxury yachts.

The Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, fitting and testing a range of mechanical systems throughout the yacht build process. You'll work as part of an experienced production team, ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
