Ready to take your skills to the next level in one of the UK’s most impressive quarries? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at Torr Works on a 4 on 4 off double days rotation, at our super quarry in the heart of Somerset.

This is your chance to work on large‑scale, heavy‑duty industrial equipment in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment that’s unlike anywhere else.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs across site equipment to maintain performance and extend asset life.
• Responding quickly and safely to plant breakdowns, implementing both temporary fixes and permanent solutions.
• Using your technical skills in welding, cutting, and fabrication to support the integrity of our machinery and operations.
• Supporting a culture of safety and excellence, helping to improve and document maintenance procedures and working practices.
• Collaborating closely with site management and other departments to ensure effective and efficient operations.

What you’ll bring

• A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Maintenance (or similar).
• Solid experience as a Fitter, with proven skills in welding, fabrication, and fault‑finding.
