Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter

Our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a hydro site project in Cruachan. This is a contract role based in Oban, with an immediate start, lasting for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, assembling, and maintaining mechanical machinery and equipment at the hydro site
• Ensuring all fittings and fixtures are correctly installed and meet the required specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Collaborating with other on-site engineers and technicians
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Job Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical fitting, preferably within the energy sector
