Kinetic plc in Nelson, Lancashire, is recruiting a workshop-based Mechanical Fitter for manufacturing and assembling equipment. The role is a permanent, dayshift position with a 39-hour week.

The candidate should be able to read design drawings, work on projects to customer specs, and maintain quality while following health and safety guidelines. Overtime paid at 1.5x. Pension and other benefits apply.

Formación

• Must be time served and capable of working on projects in a workshop.
• Experience reading and interpreting design drawings.
• Experience manufacturing and assembling equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake projects to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Modify & rebuild existing machines.
• Manufacture new machines.
• Read and work from design drawings.
• Keep a selection of spare parts for the above machines.
• Communicate progress to the manager on jobs.
• Report snagging details needing identification and correction.
• Maintain high standards through manufacturing and rebuilding of machines.
• Work on own initiative, keep area clean and tidy.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines.

I am recruiting for a workshop based Mechanical fitter to manufacture and assemble pieces of equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• To undertake projects to ensure that they comply with relevant customer specifications.
• Modify & rebuild existing machines.
• To manufacture new machines.
• Ability to read and work from design drawings
• To work and keep a selection of spare parts for the above machines.
• To communicate and report progress to their manager on jobs.
• To report snagging details which may need identifying and correcting.
• To work to a high standard through the manufacturing and rebuilding of the machines.
• Work on own initiative clean and tidy area
• To work within and follow Health and Safety guidelines.

LOCATION - Nelson

SHIFT - Days (39 hours per week)

SALARY - £(phone number removed) (£16.34 per hour)

Overtime - 1.5 times hourly rate

Working Hours - Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

Pension - Matched contributions up to 7%
