Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a Stroud-based engineering partner in recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a workshop-based role. You will assemble and install mechanical systems, work with hydraulics and pneumatics, and perform fault checks prior to commissioning.

In-house training and clear progression routes are provided, with early finish on Fridays and optional overtime to boost earnings. You should have a mechanical background and be commutable to Stroud.

In this workshop based role you will help build and install hydraulic and pneumatic and piping systems working within the mechanical division, Your job will also include checking systems for any faults, final checks on completed products ready for the commissioning team.

This role would suit someone with Mechanical Background looking to join a company that will providing training to upskill ad offer multiple pathways of progression.
