Our client in Wallsend is currently seeking an experienced mechanical fitter to join their team. This role involves installing platforms, performing bolt tightening, and utilizing your torque and tensioning skills. Position Details:

• Role: Mechanical Fitter (Torque Tensioning Experience)
• Location: Wallsend

Shift Options:

• Choose between two shifts: 0800 to 1600 or 1630 to 0100, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

Pay and Hours:

• Competitive pay rates: £19.50/£21.50 per hour for early shift, £21.39/£23.59 per hour for late shift.
• Full-time hours: 42 hours per week, with overtime available after 38 hours.

Overtime Rates:

• x1.3 from Monday to Friday
• x1.5 on Saturdays

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanical fitter, specifically in torque tensioning.
• Skills in installing platforms, bolt tightening, and torque and tensioning techniques.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
