Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer/Mechanical Fitter for a mobile role covering London, the South and occasional nationwide travel. You will perform AHU refurbishment, ventilation installations and HVAC project tasks within commercial and industrial sites, with a 45-hour week initially reducing to 40 hours and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Applicants should have transferable mechanical or electrical skills; NVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical or Air Conditioning is desirable, plus a Full UK

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting and HVAC project work.
• AHU refurbishment & upgrades experience desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or Electrical or Air Conditioning desirable.

Responsibilities

• AHU refurbishment & upgrades.

• Decarbonisation projects.
• Occasional pipework modifications & coil changes.

HVAC Site Engineer/ Mechanical Fitter

Up to £41,000 DOE

45-hour week initially (reducing to 40 hours)

Monday-Friday | 08:00-16:30

Mobile role covering London, South & occasional nationwide travel

• AHU refurbishment & upgrades
• Ventilation system installations
• Mechanical fitting & HVAC project work
• Decarbonisation projects
• Occasional pipework modifications & coil changes
• Mainly project work with occasional reactive works
• Commercial & industrial sites
• Travel time paid
• Staying away required occasionally (accommodation & subsistence paid)

Looking for:

• Mechanical Fitter / HVAC Engineer / AC Installer / Maintenance Engineer / Pipefitter
• Candidates with transferable mechanical or electrical skills
• AHU experience desirable but not essential
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical, Electrical desirable or Air Conditioning
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Keen to learn with a good attitude and team fit
