Job summary

Embrace Associates in London is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for a permanent, on-site role across commercial and industrial sites. You will service, maintain and fault-find on AC and refrigeration systems, with roughly a 50/50 split between maintenance and reactive works, working as part of a supportive engineering team.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration and F-Gas 2079 Category 1.

Qualifications

  • Experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on HVAC systems (AC/refrigeration).
  • Experience in commercial/industrial environments is preferred.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC and refrigeration systems (approx 50/50).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Support ventilation and general building services works.
  • Deliver high standard of customer service on-site.
  • Work independently while staying connected to a wider engineering team.

Job Role: HVAC Engineer

Location: Central London

Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP45,000 base / GBP55,000 – GBP70,000 OTE (uncapped) inc Vehicle, fuel card, laptop, phone, hand tool allowance.

Start Date: Immediate

Type: Permanent Full–Time

About the company

This is an opportunity to join a well–established building services specialist as a HVAC Engineer with a long term contract in the London area. The company have a long standing contract covering 4/5 sites in London. Whilst this role is mobile, the reality is that you will be semi–static moving around the same sites 80% with 20% other customers.

What will you be doing as a HVAC Engineer?
  • You ll be working across a mix of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out: Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC & refrigeration systems. This is approx 50/50 split between maintenance and reactive works.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service on–site

What are we looking for in a HVAC Engineer?
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration

  • Strong fault–finding and problem–solving ability
  • Experience within commercial and/or industrial environments (preferred)
  • Good communication and customer–facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
