Job summary

Embrace Associates in Central London is seeking an HVAC Engineer to join a mobile role that provides a base salary of £40,000–£45,000 with £55,000–£70,000 OTE. Immediate start on a permanent, full‑time basis with vehicle, fuel card, laptop, phone and hand tool allowance.

You will service, maintain and fault-find on AC and refrigeration across commercial and industrial sites, predominantly 50/50 maintenance and reactive work, with 80% site work and 20% other customers.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
  • F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in commercial/industrial environments (preferred).
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC & refrigeration systems (approx 50/50 maintenance vs. reactive).
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Supporting ventilation and general building services works.
  • Delivering high standard of customer service on-site.
  • Working independently while staying connected to a wider engineering team.

About the company

This is an opportunity to join a well-established building services specialist with a long term contract in the London area. The company have a long standing contract covering 4/5 sites in London. Whilst this role is mobile, the reality is that you will be semi-static moving around the same sites 80% with 20% other customers.

What will you be doing?
  • You'll be working across a mix of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out: Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC & refrigeration systems. This is approx 50/50 split between maintenance and reactive works.

What are we looking for?
