Landmarc Support Services Limited is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. You will service engines, gearboxes and equipment, perform fault finding, and ensure safe, compliant operation across assets and sites.

You will mentor apprentices, complete documentation, and collaborate with contractors to maintain high standards of reliability and safety. The role emphasizes practical hands-on work and adherence to COSHH and safe work practices.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant field with relevant experience.
• Full UK driving licence (Category C desirable).
• Solid understanding of health & safety practices (COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, safe systems of work).
• IT proficiency to complete documentation and reports.

Landmarc Support Services are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to be part of our dynamic team. In this role, you'll take on a variety of maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks to keep our estate running smoothly. You'll work on assets, vehicles, buildings, and equipment, ensuring everything is safe, reliable, and operating at its best. • Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, and other equipment.
• Carry out diagnostic work and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Use and maintain tools, machinery, and company equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct preventative maintenance and remedial repairs, including working at height or in confined spaces when required.
• Complete all documentation accurately using both IT and paper-based systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and asset users to ensure smooth site operations.
• Provide mentorship and support to apprentices or trainees
• Undertake driving tasks, including operating specialist plant machinery if required.
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ) or equivalent, with relevant experience.
• Full UK driving licence (Category C desirable)
• Solid understanding of health & safety practices, including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
• Knowledge of specialist equipment (e.g., plant machinery and generators)
• IT proficiency to complete documentation and reports
• Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment effectively
• Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with customers
• Willingness to undertake training for high-risk environments (e.g., working at height or in confined spaces)
