Landmarc Support Services at RAF Spadeadam is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to carry out fabrication, welding and repair work across estate assets, facilities and equipment. The role supports military training environments while upholding high workmanship standards.

The position offers a permanent contract with standard hours (Mon-Thu 07:50–17:00, Fri 07:50–16:10), and a 40-hour week. BPSS/SC clearance may apply depending on role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Fabrication or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices (COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments).
• Experience in a multi-skilled, mobile team environment.
• Ability to operate and maintain a wide range of tools and equipment.
• Basic IT skills and documentation proficiency.
• Willingness to undertake training for high-risk work areas.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Performing general fabrication, welding, machining, and carpentry tasks.
• Maintaining and repairing buildings, assets, vehicles, and equipment.
• Conducting inspections, preventative maintenance, and remedial works.
• Operating tools, plant machinery, and specialist equipment.
• Supporting apprentices and trainees through mentoring.
• Completing documentation using IT and paper-based systems.
• Liaising with stakeholders, contractors, and site users.
• Working safely in high-risk environments (heights, confined spaces).

Landmarc Support Services is looking for a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to join our team at RAF Spadeadam. In this hands‑on role, you'll carry out fabrication, welding and repair work across a wide range of estate assets, facilities and equipment, helping to keep the training estate safe, operational and fit for purpose. Working in a varied environment where no two days are the same, you'll play an important part in supporting military training activities while delivering high standards of workmanship. • Basic IT skills and documentation proficiency
• Willingness to undertake training for high-risk work areas
