Job summary

RBU Sales UK Ltd t/a iRecruit UK in Doncaster is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to install, assemble and fit mechanical and electrical equipment. The role includes carrying out planned maintenance and fault diagnosis while reading engineering drawings and technical manuals.

You will work with hand and power tools, assemble and align components, and ensure work meets strict safety and quality standards. Shift patterns include days and evenings with rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out electrical wiring, connections and basic fault finding.
• Assemble, align and adjust mechanical components.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out inspections and testing of equipment.

Job description

Mechanical Fitter

Location: Doncaster DN11

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotational shift days and afternoons 6am -2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm

Salary: £ 20.96 / hr (£43,590 per annum)
