Job summary

Stirling Warrington Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team on site.

You will maintain and repair heavy mobile plant equipment such as loading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks, diagnose faults and carry out routine inspections to minimise downtime.

The role offers a stable day shift Monday to Friday with opportunities for training and development within a busy industrial site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience working with heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and fault finding.
• Experience working on loading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks.
• Experience with hydraulic presses or other heavy industrial machinery would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy mobile plant and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Maintain and repair equipment including loading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.

The Role:

We are looking for an experiencedMobile Plant Fitterto join our maintenance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter with a strong background inheavy mobile plant and industrial equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing a range of machinery across the site, helping to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
