Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy mobile plant and industrial equipment across the site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with loading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks, plus strong hydraulic fault-finding skills. A background in heavy machinery and a commitment to safe, efficient operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and fault finding.
• Experience with loading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks.
• Experience with hydraulic presses or other heavy machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy mobile plant and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Maintain and repair equipment including loading shovels, telehandlers, forklift trucks and hydraulic presses.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise machinery downtime.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter with a strong background inheavy mobile plant and industrial equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing a range of machinery across the site, helping to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

• Maintain and repair equipment includingloading shovels, telehandlers, forklift trucks and hydraulic presses.

• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise machinery downtime.

About You:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as aMobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience working withheavy mobile plant equipment.
• Good knowledge ofhydraulic systems and fault finding.
• Experience working on equipment such asloading shovels, telehandlers and forklift trucks.
• Experience with hydraulic presses or other heavy industrial machinery would be highly advantageous.
