Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Castleford is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a German‑owned manufacturer delivering high‑quality equipment.

Role involves assembly, strip, survey and testing, fault finding and servicing of mechanical equipment, with a 40‑hour week and overtime as required.

Salary £32,000‑£35,000 basic plus £40,000 OTE, plus manufacturer training, progression, pension and a company vehicle for site work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanical fitter with fault finding and servicing of mechanical equipment.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship.

Your role as a mechanical fitter will include:

• Mechanical fitter, assembly, strip, survey and testing
• 40 hour week Monday to Friday - overtime when required
• Based in Castleford

As a mechanical fitter you will have:

• Mechanical fitter / engineer / technician
• Experience of fault finding and servicing mechanical equipment
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
