Job summary

moveatech Limited is seeking a contract Mechanical Fitter to install, service and maintain mechanical process equipment across wastewater sites in the UK. You will handle installation, servicing, and remedial works, with regular travel to client sites and occasional nights away.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on fitting experience, a strong industrial background, and a full UK driving licence. CSCS and medical vaccinations for wastewater work are required or recommended where applicable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical fitting experience is essential.
• Experience with installation and servicing of mechanical equipment.
• Experience in wastewater or water industry preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• CSCS Card holders preferred.
• Confined Space - Medium Risk certification is required.
• Critical Medical Certificate is required.
• Vaccinations for working in wastewater environments recommended.
• Able to read drawings and RAMS for works.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Fitter - Contract

Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter with experience in industrial equipment? We are looking for a contract Mechanical Fitter to carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and remedial works on mechanical process equipment, predominantly within the wastewater industry. You will work at operational treatment sites across the UK.

What you'll be doing

• Mechanical installation and assembly of equipment.
• Planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance and remedial works.

What you'll bring

You will bring hands-on mechanical fitting experience, ideally gained within the water or wastewater sector. A strong industrial mechanical background will also be considered.
