Job summary

JCI is seeking a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer for a static site in the North West of England. You will work on-site delivering mechanical fire suppression services within a highly regulated environment, focusing on safety, reliability, and customer service.

You will join a team of on-site engineers, adapt to client needs, and maintain high standards while liaising with the client for permits and instructions. A Full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fire suppression experience essential.
• Experience on regulated sites preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on‑site.
• Undertake training for site‑specific operations.
• Occasionally support electrical, gaseous and passive fire systems.
• Liaise daily with the client for permits and instructions.
• Participate in the on‑call rota (site‑only).
• Perform maintenance, commissioning, witness testing, and training.
• Report H&S issues or near‑misses immediately.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to all health & safety standards and promote company culture.
