Job summary

JCI is seeking a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer for a static site in the North West of England. You will work on-site delivering mechanical fire suppression services within a highly regulated environment, focusing on safety, reliability, and customer service.

You will join a team of on-site engineers, adapt to client needs, and maintain high standards while liaising with the client for permits and instructions. A Full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Mechanical fire suppression experience essential.
Experience on regulated sites preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on‑site.
Undertake training for site‑specific operations.
Occasionally support electrical, gaseous and passive fire systems.
Liaise daily with the client for permits and instructions.
Participate in the on‑call rota (site‑only).
Perform maintenance, commissioning, witness testing, and training.
Report H&S issues or near‑misses immediately.
Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
Adhere to all health & safety standards and promote company culture.
