Job summary

The Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Technician to join the Engineering and Estates Team on site at Harwell. The role covers day-to-day maintenance of mechanical services and fault-finding across a range of plant and piped systems.

We offer training opportunities and benefits including early career development and a generous leave entitlement. Full-time, 36 hours per week, on-site with generous facilities at Harwell Campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a range of piped systems and plant.
• Hands-on mechanical technician with fault-finding ability.
• Willingness to undertake training opportunities and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance and management of mechanical site services.
• General mechanical repairs, maintenance, installation and fault-finding to the estate.
