Zusammenfassung

Galliford Try AVRS Systems is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join the estimating team. You will prepare enquiry schedules, evaluate supplier quotations and produce cost data to support competitive tenders for water sector projects across the UK.

You will work with engineering, procurement and project delivery teams, developing cost data, identifying risks and ensuring compliant, commercially robust tender submissions. This role offers growth within a leading infrastructure group.

Qualifikationen

• Equivalent to Level 3 NVQ or Certificate-level qualification.
• Relevant construction, engineering, mechanical or technical qualification desirable.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Prepare enquiry schedules and liaise with internal stakeholders and procurement teams.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for robust commercial decisions.
• Produce detailed cost estimates and pricing submissions.
• Attend tender finalisation and handover meetings with cost information and recommendations.
• Support compliant and robust tender submissions with engineering input.
