Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing building services contractor. You will own high-value tenders across a diverse portfolio of new-build projects and contribute from tender through to handover.

This role focuses on producing accurate cost estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and securing competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator.
• Background in Plumbing and Heating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Produce accurate labour, material, plant and subcontractor take-offs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare competitive tender submissions and supporting documentation.
