Frontline Construction Recruitment is working with a well-established contractor in Milton Keynes to recruit a Mechanical & Electrical Estimator for the pre-construction team. The role focuses on preparing estimates and tender submissions for commercial and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as an M&E Estimator or Building Services Estimator.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience pricing commercial, industrial or public sector projects.
• Knowledge of estimating software and MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Mechanical & Electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Carry out detailed take-offs and cost analysis.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Build competitive and commercially viable tender packages.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams throughout the tender process.
• Attend site visits and tender meetings where required.
• Assist with project handover to operational teams upon contract award.
• Support value engineering and alternative solution proposals.

Mechanical & Electrical Estimator required for a growing Building Services Contractor based in Milton Keynes.

Frontline Construction Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and expanding contractor specialising in Mechanical & Electrical services, Facilities Management, Small Works, Refurbishment and Full Project Delivery across the commercial and industrial sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction team and play a key role in securing future projects.

Key Responsibilities
