Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Gravesend, Kent, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to take ownership of pricing and tender submissions for a growing building services business.

You will analyse drawings, prepare take-offs and Bills of Quantities, source supplier and subcontractor prices, and work closely with contracts managers and directors to deliver competitive bids on time.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical estimation and pricing experience
• Strong understanding of the building services industry
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications
• Ability to prepare accurate take-offs and cost estimates
• Excellent commercial awareness and numeracy
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under pressure
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional and reliable approach expected of a Mechanical Estimator

Responsibilities

Mechanical Estimator

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing building services company based in Gravesend, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of pricing and tender submissions while working closely with the contracts team and company directors. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates across a range of mechanical building services projects.

The role

Package

• 37,000- 55,000 per annum
• Full-time, permanent position
