Job summary

RecruitME is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its Lincolnshire team. The role involves preparing detailed mechanical estimates for medium to large building services projects and reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.

You will conduct take-offs for materials, labour, plant and subcontractors, produce competitive pricing, and manage tender queries with deadlines. The position offers an employee-owned environment, car allowance, pension, and progression

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
• Solid understanding of mechanical building services, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong grasp of mechanical estimating, measuring, and material take-offs.
• Commercial insight and the ability to recognize potential risks in projects.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and capacity to work well with others.
• Adept in using Microsoft Office.
• Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Producing competitive tender submissions and detailed pricing schedules.

• £48,000 – £58,000 salary, depending on experience.
