Requirements:

1. Good engine and mechanical diagnostic/problem solving skills.
2. Previous experience in engine test/research and development, in building and stripping internal combustion engines, or equivalent transferable skills.
3. An engineering or motor mechanics apprenticeship, some relevant work experience, and relevant higher education.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow documented standard work procedures/instructions to perform safe and defect-free engine build, strip, and rebuild tasks that enable high-quality data collection.
2. Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers responsible for engine test programs.
3. Support value stream improvement projects and utilize Lean tools (BIQ, CI, 5S).
