Job summary

weServed is offering a Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Summer Internship in Bristol for 12 weeks starting June 2027. You will work with the Submarine Support Engineering team, contributing to modelling, analyses and improvements while running your own project under expert supervision.

You will build practical skills in CAD modeling, thermal/flow/stress analysis, and tooling development, gaining insight into Royal Navy submarine support and defence engineering processes.

Qualifications

• This internship requires an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student.
• Security clearance restrictions may apply and BPSS/SC clearance is required.
• UK national status may be required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Join SSE Mechanical Team for 12 weeks to support submarine systems.
• Contribute to system performance modelling, maintenance optimisation and analyses.
• Develop your own project and assist engineers on real-world tasks.
