Job summary

Pernod Ricard is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead major Capex projects within the Distillation & Maturation engineering team. You will manage a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring budgets, schedules and safety standards are met across the UK&I region.

Location: Kilmalid, Dumbarton or Miltonduff, Elgin, with regular travel across local geography and occasional to other regions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified and Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
• Extensive leadership of teams in engineering and capital projects.
• Experience delivering strategic engineering plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
• Experience managing budgets and project expenditure.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and teams.
• Committed to continuous learning and developing others.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead major Capex projects and PMs.
• Ensure project briefs are prepared and resourced.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budgets.
• Act as Engineering Project Manager when required.
• Coordinate Capex inputs across stakeholders.
• Monitor costs and track progress.
• Foster team development and continuous learning.
• Define and maintain engineering standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
