Job summary

Pernod Ricard España SA is seeking an Engineering Manager (Mechanical) to lead major Capex projects in the UK and Ireland region, with a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers. You will align project briefs with sponsors, secure resourcing, and ensure safe, timely delivery within approved budgets.

The role requires Chartered Mechanical Engineer credentials, strong leadership, and the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified & Chartered Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience.
• Significant leadership of teams in engineering and capital projects.
• Experience delivering strategic engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major Capex projects through a team of engineers and project managers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budgets for UK&I.

This role also includes Capex management of multi-disciplined projects under its governance, ensuring budgets are correct, maintained and correctly phased from a cash perspective. You will also provide Mechanical Engineering technical leadership and authority and support the successful delivery of engineering projects and standards.What you will doProject management:Ensuring the top spend Capex project for the respective areas is well managed by their Senior Project Engineering Managers, Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers.Ensure Project briefs are clearly compiled before assignment to Project Managers, signed off by project sponsor.
