A global leader in the property & real estate market, serving sectors including managing agents, healthcare, and critical engineering, seeks an experienced Mechanical bias engineering / technical services manager. The role is based at their London HQ for a high-profile North American trading organization with offices across US, UK & EMEA. The successful candidate will manage HVAC and critical engineering services within the building, supporting a multi-skilled engineering team and FM operations.
The salary guideline is circa £80-90,000, plus a package including a car allowance of £5,000 and a discretionary annual bonus of up to 20%, healthcare, pension scheme, etc.
Candidates must be fully qualified in mechanical engineering or air conditioning, ideally through a full apprenticeship within commercial building services. A minimum of 5+ years experience as an engineering manager in similar critical environments (Banking / Data Centre) or demanding corporate HQ is required.
Additional qualifications desired include AP status for HVAC systems (Water, Lifts, Pressure Systems, High/Low Voltage), ILM, NEBOSH/IOSH memberships, or other professional memberships.
