Job summary
Matchtech is seeking a Mechanical Instructor for a rapidly expanding Group Training Association in Hull to deliver apprenticeship and commercial training. You will create an engaging learning environment and ensure all training meets Health & Safety guidelines.
Responsibilities include providing feedback to learners, maintaining progress records, and applying your hands-on experience with lathe/milling operations, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and safe tool use.
Qualifications
- Must have Level 3 Engineering qualification and practical maintenance experience.
- Experience with mechanical maintenance, lathe and milling operatorshp.
- Safe handling of hand tools and knowledge of HSE practices.
- Knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics is required or desirable.
- Good interpersonal and computer skills, driving licence beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Deliver apprenticeship and adult skills training to company standards.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for apprentices.
- Ensure training meets Health & Safety guidelines.
- Provide feedback and support to apprentices.
- Maintain accurate records of learners' progress and achievements.
