Job summary

Find Recruitment Group LTD are working with an engineering training provider in Hull seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to move off the tools into a hands-on training role. The position involves delivering practical workshop-based training to Level 3 engineering apprentices.

You'll cover areas such as lathes, milling, hydraulics and pneumatics, with full training and teaching qualifications provided. Monday to Friday in Hull with occasional travel to other centres.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong hands-on engineering background and mentoring skills.
• Interest in moving into a training/education role with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical training to Level 3 engineering apprentices in workshop.
• Cover topics such as hydraulics, pneumatics, lathes and milling, general maintenance.
• Work Monday to Friday mainly in Hull with travel to other centres as needed.

I am working with an engineering training provider in Hull who are looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Engineer off the tools and into a training role or an experienced teacher.

Responsibilities

The position is mainly workshop-based, delivering practical training to Level 3 engineering apprentices across areas such as:

• PPM & reactive maintenance
• Lathes & milling machines
• Hydraulics & pneumatics
• Safe use of hand tools
• General mechanical maintenance practices

Monday to Friday, role based mainly in Hull, with occasional travel to other training centres when needed.

No previous teaching experience required; full training, teaching qualifications and support will be provided.

Salary and Benefits

Salary between £39,000 - £41,000 plus strong annual leave entitlement, pension and additional benefits.
