Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Interest in engineering, technology and the future of nuclear energy.
• Security Vetting requires UK residence for at least three of the past five years.

Responsibilities

• 16-month programme with placements across engineering and operational environments.
• Contribute to projects from safety‑critical systems to turbine overhauls and commissioning activities.
• Model gas flows and temperatures within nuclear reactor cores and prepare safety justifications for modifications.
• Work with colleagues from different disciplines to broaden technical knowledge and tackle complex challenges.
