EDF is offering a Mechanical Engineering Graduate programme in the United Kingdom. You will join a 16‑month scheme with placements across engineering and operations, contributing to safety‑critical projects and turbine overhauls while building professional skills for a future in nuclear energy.

Eligible candidates have a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in relevant fields and must meet UK security vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Interest in engineering, technology and the future of nuclear energy.
• Eligibility for UK security vetting (resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years).

Responsibilities

• Undertake placements across engineering and operational environments to develop technical and professional skills.
• Contribute to projects ranging from safety‑critical systems and plant modifications to turbine overhauls and commissioning activities.
• Support the transition towards An Electric Britain through varied site placements and learning experiences.
