Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Water Bias) for our Westminster, London site. The role offers a salary of £50,800 plus a benefits package and a standard 4-on/4-off dayshift pattern.

You will handle planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical water systems, plumbing, and air conditioning, with a focus on safety and compliance. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering and have experience in facilities management, with the ability to obtain CTC

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in building services and the 18th Edition Test and Inspection.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to obtain CTC clearance.
• Able to work autonomously and deliver high standards safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems.
• Provide first line response to reactive callouts, ensuring safe work in line with codes of practice.
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with engineering supervisor and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service.

L8 City and Guilds or NVQ in plumbing/mechanical engineering
