Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Westminster is seeking a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer to maintain a large government site on a 4 on 4 off days schedule. You will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, water treatment, plumbing, HVAC, and pressure systems, ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should hold L8/City & Guilds or NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering, possess a clean driving licence, and be able to obtain CTC clearance.

Qualifications

• L8 qualified with City and Guilds or NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering.
• Practical with good common sense and ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to gain CTC clearance.
• Able to act on own initiative and deliver work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required
• Collaborate with engineering supervisor and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality service

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Westminster has arisen! CBW are currently recruiting for a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer to look after a large Government site in Westminster. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Mechanical Engineering & Water Treatment ideally currently working in a similar position. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a large organisation so they can expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required
