You will perform detailed vehicle inspections and generate accurate reports, supporting pre-purchase checks, warranty evaluations and audits to ensure safety and quality across vehicles.

The role requires proven mechanical experience, a full UK driving licence and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.

• Proven mechanical experience within vehicle maintenance, servicing or MOT environments.
• Experience conducting vehicle inspections, audits or appraisals.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, professional reports.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• An interest in continuous improvement and operational development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality vehicle inspections, ensuring accuracy and professionalism at all times.
• Complete detailed inspection reports promptly following each inspection.
• Carry out pre-purchase checks, warranty evaluations, audits and mechanical assessments.
• Identify cosmetic, structural and mechanical issues, including substandard bodywork repairs.
• Support operational initiatives and contribute to new processes and programmes.
• Build positive customer relationships and represent DEKRA professionally.
