Job summary

Anderselite is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a temporary on-site role in Shoreditch. You will carry out maintenance, reactive and installation works on HVAC plant including FCUs, AHUs, pumps and boilers, in line with policy, specifications and HSE regulations.

You'll maintain records, supervise subcontractors when required, and prioritise tasks with the team leader to deliver all works within agreed time and budget.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years minimum experience in the field.
• DBS check or willingness to complete one.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, reactive and installation works per policy, specifications and HSE regulations; including FCUs, AHUs, HVAC plant.
• Maintain records and ensure faults are repaired per contract requirements.
• Complete works competently and comply with policy, specifications and HSE; supervise subcontractors as needed.
• Develop IT skills (Excel / Word / Email / PDA) to manage information and workload.
• Work with team leader to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and budget.
• Assess hazards and risks of all work and manage them appropriately.

Job description

My client one of the UKs largest Facilities Management companies in the UK are looking for a Mechanical Engineer in the Shoreditch area.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out maintenance, reactive and installation works in accordance with appropriate policy, specifications and HSE regulations. Pumps, Boilers, FCUs, AHUs, HVAC plant
• Maintain all records associated with delivering the service ensuring faults are repaired in accordance with the contract requirements
• Complete all works in a competent and compliant manner in accordance with the appropriate policy, specifications and HSE requirements (Inc the supervision of sub-contractors) and documents completed.
• Develop a level of competence in the application of IT skills (Excel / Word / Email / PDA), to manage business information, communication and workload.
• Work with team leader to prioritise workload to ensure all works are completed within time and budget.
• Ensure all types of work undertaken are assessed for hazards and risks and those risks and hazards are appropriately managed.

Must Haves

This is a temporary role Mon - Fri 40 hours per week and is paying £30 per hour Umbrella or £22.72 per hour PAYE + holiday pay.
