Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and remedial works across our client portfolio.

You will ensure mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves diagnosing faults, supporting projects and upgrades, and maintaining accurate digital records using handheld devices and CAM/FM systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering maintenance.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) or equivalent.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and remedial works.
• Maintain, repair and service mechanical equipment for reliability.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Provide technical support for projects, upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain digital maintenance records and documentation.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient work.
