Job description

Field Service Engineer - Power

Location: South Midlands

Travel will be required - preferred location is the Midlands or Southern based.

Salary: £45k - £55k DOE

Increased pay available if you have any of these certifications:

1. GasSafe
2. 18th Edition
3. HV Switching

Main Responsibilities:

1. Replace worn components as needed due to wear, failure, or scheduled maintenance, including cylinder heads, piston/liner assemblies, turbochargers, exhaust and intake systems, oil pumps, and intercoolers.
2. Take the lead in overhauling reciprocating power equipment.
3. Carry out routine maintenance and operational tasks, including fault identification, troubleshooting, and repairs.
4. Deliver planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
5. Consult with the Engineering and Management team when guidance is needed.
