Job summary

IN2 Engineering is seeking a talented Mechanical/Building Services Engineer to design mechanical building services across diverse sectors. You will influence decisions from day one, delivering projects from concept to handover and coordinating with electrical engineers, architects, and design teams.

With a background in HVAC and building services design, you will manage multiple projects, contribute to client meetings, and drive energy-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• 2 to 5+ years' experience in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong HVAC and building services design experience.
• Experience with IES, Hevacomp, or similar; Revit beneficial.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building services systems across multiple sectors.
• Deliver projects from concept through to construction and handover.
• Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and design teams.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to engineering decisions.
• Support site inspections, commissioning, and final delivery.
• Drive energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions.
