Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineering support specialist in the United Kingdom to cover three core domains: Operational Environment, Deployment, and Mobility. You will work closely with the prime contractor, safety team, and in‑service staff while supporting trials activity and occasional contractor site visits.

The role focuses on resolving domain‑related issues, raising items with the Safety Team, and providing SME support to the In‑Service Team, including site visits and working toward closure

Qualifications

• AJAX programme experience required.
• Familiarity with AJAX vehicles and/or armoured vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support three core technical domains: Operational Environment, Deployment and Mobility.
• Collaborate with the prime contractor and safety team on trials activity.
• Provide SME support to the In‑Service Team for domain questions.
• Undertake occasional visits to contractor sites.
• Work towards closure of system requirements during the Demonstration Phase.
